POLYPLANITY PRODUCTIONS IS AN INDEPENDENT PRODUCTION COMPANY BASED IN ATHENS.
We are a group of dedicated creative producers who thrive on the challenge of fusing art and production.
We engage in large-scale productions of distinguished directors as well as working with up and coming artists, supporting the implementation of each project from concept to final presentation.
SINCE 2006, WE ARE ESTABLISHED IN THE FIELDS OF THEATER, PERFORMATIVE ARTS AND EVENTS IN PUBLIC SPACE.
We are also expanding into the fields of film, site-specific installations and extended reality technologies.
Our primary goals are to produce innovative works of artistic merit which can be presented both in a local and in an international context, to support and encourage the creative vision and to experiment with interdisciplinary works.
YOLANDA MARKOPOULOU
/DIRECTOR - PRODUCER
Yolanda Markopoulou is a director and producer of theater and film projects. Among the plays he has directed are "Tejas Verdes", "Dead Travellers", "The soil" and "E_FYGA" at the SYNERGY, "Room no. 6" at the Odou Kefallinia Theater, "We are the Persians!" at the Athens Festival as well as the short films "The Pyramids of Athens" and "It's ok my friend!" in co-production with the Greek Cinema Center and were hosted at many international festivals.
In 2007 she founded Polyplanity Productions and the SYNERGY-O, an alternative performing arts space in the center of Athens which, in addition to performances, hosts art workshops for vulnerable social groups. The creative workshop for refugees and immigrants STATION ATHENS in collaboration with the NGO AMAKA has been operating for the last 6 years with successful results.
In 2007 she founded Polyplanity Productions and the SYNERGY-O, an alternative performing arts space in the center of Athens which, in addition to performances, hosts art workshops for vulnerable social groups. VICKY STRATAKI
/PRODUCTION & ADMINISTRATIONS
Vicky Strataki was born and raised in Greece. She hοlds a BA from the University of Athens in Media & Communication studies and an MA with distinction from Queen Mary Univ. of London in Film Studies. She is a phD candidate and her thesis subject is Urban Space in Contemporary Greek Cinema and she has presented papers in various conferences in Greece and aborad. She has worked in the non-profit sector and has published articles on music cinema and the arts, mostly online. She is a member of the Polyplanity PRODUCTIONS team since 2017.
SYNERGY-O IS AN EXPERIMENTAL ART SPACE IN THE CENTER OF ATHENS.
It has presented more than 50 theatrical productions, exhibitions, concerts, seminars and theatrical lectures in its temporary roof in Metaxourgeio, but also in places in the neighborhood which were utilized and shaped specifically for the needs of each project. Since 2010, in collaboration with the NGO Amaka, they has been operating the art and theater workshop for refugees and immigrants 'Station Athens'.
SYNERGY-O's goal is the production of artistic works with a strong social content in combination with the hosting of workshops for vulnerable social groups.
