Dome Event, an international event on the refugee issue with actions in five different venues in Athens, plays2place productions in cooperation with the Athens Biennale 2015-2017 OMONOIA and co-production with the Cultural Space Workshop, present DOME Experience: Traces.
What does the refugee crisis mean? How do we comprehend what we are experiencing as human beings, as humanity, and how would this be registered in our collective memory in 5, 10, 100 years from now?
Through a hybrid mix of images, sounds, stories, testimonies, facts and real people — we follow the raw elements a refugee course (countries of origin, transit countries, countries of destination and all borders in between them). An experience is created, combining a unique museum, the power of a documentary and the immediacy of a theatrical play.
